Loon Lake Fishing

 "The Mighty Loon" has always been known as one of the finest fishing lakes in the state for Kokanee, Rainbow, Perch and Bass.

• Fishing season starts the 4th Saturday of April through October 31st. 
• Spokane Hatchery released 300 Rainbow on March 18, 2024.

 State record-sized Mackinaw (Lake Trout) came out of Loon Lake in the mid-60's, weighing in at over 30 pounds and held the record until 1999.

Loon also holds the state and WORLD RECORD for Tiger Trout at 24-1/2 lbs. in 2021 and the following year a 27 lb. 7 oz. Tiger caught by the previous year's record holders Mom!
